Great story. Great gameplay. Great music. Great graphics. Great character design. You get to really meet every single character because they each have multiple unique character quests that are always interesting, funny, or tear-jerking. Gacha element is there, but it’s not at all p2w. Definitely supplemental. You can beat all content with free characters given to you from the story. End game can get grindy, but you can play at your own pace, since nothing is time limited. Fun casual game.
A full fledged RPG. Production was lead by industry veterans. Director Masato Kato also directed Chrono Cross and wrote the script for Chrono Trigger, as well as other late 90’s Square games. Anyone that’s a fan of those will find a lot to enjoy here. You can buy Chrono Stones to get new party members but it’s never a requirement as you can get them easily from quests and achievements. Best game on the app store by a long shot.
Ever played Chrono Trigger? Then you will love this game. Starts out on a medieval village, leaps forward 800 years into a sci-fi future, then back in time to the prehistoric era. Sound familiar? I am a huge fan of Chrono Trigger and this reminds me so much of that game. The graphics are amazing, a seemingly never ending story. Love all the side quest options. Wide variety of characters to unlock. None of those player versus player toxic stress I find in so many other games. Pure RPG fun! 😀
